Farm Life has four directors who meet at regular intervals and make decisions on day to day and long-term management of the Community Interest Company.

Meet the Directors

Louise Hufton

Louise is a part-time primary school teacher and Special Needs Co-ordinator at St. Begh’s Catholic Junior School, Whitehaven. She will also be delivering land-based sessions for students from the local area.

Joanne Gaffney

Joanne is a qualified primary school teacher, a former SENCo, and former specialist advisory teacher who now works as an Educational Psychologist in Copeland and Allerdale, providing support and advice to schools, families, children, and young people. Joanne is Harry’s oldest daughter (of three) and Louise’s sister. She also lives on the family farm and keeps her two horses, Mallo and Brooky, on the farm. 

Joanne McGill

Joanne is a local primary school lead teacher, foster carer and lifelong animal lover. Alpacas and llamas are favourites of hers!

Victoria Graham

Victoria runs her own childminding business in West Cumbria. She is also a talented horse rider, competing at a range of events on her superstar pony, Miss Dotty. Victoria also enjoys training her sheepdogs Pip and Teal, competing at sheepdog trials around the country. She is highly respected as a judge, competitor and trainer of sheepdogs.
